Love our weekend getaways!
St. Augustine was a fabulous place to relax this past weekend. We took in the sights, ate some good food, and played at some amazing beaches. All thanks to Morgan:) We sure love having dad home for the weekends:)

Sea World
Sea World...more like It-Is-So-Hot-I-Can-Barely-Stand-It World. It's all for the kids, my friends. All for the kids. Max said his favorite part was feeding the Sting Rays and London said her favorite part was the Dolphin show. Will's favorite part was obviously the toe eating.
Mathie Family Olympics
The olympics are in full force at the Mathie's this summer! We got all revved up for the Opening Ceremony by having our own version of the games...including an obstacle course in the backyard, a relay race and sprint racing at the basketball course, tennis tournaments and of course, diving and laps at the pool. I wish I had taken more pictures, but, it's hard when William is grabbing for the camera all the time!
We finished the day with fish and chips and some homemade ice cream...it was a blast! The kids have loved watching the games this past week and next week while they are getting ready to end, I'm sure we'll have a few more "competitions." Except our games aren't really competitions, I try to make them more a team building experience. Like they need one more thing to fight about!
Will slept through these games but in 4 years, Max and London had better watch out!

Sea World...a new favorite!
We headed down to Orlando yesterday and met some friends at Sea World. The weather could not have been better, considering it's July in Florida, and the kids loved getting to see all the creatures. Max said his favorite part of the day was everything! London really liked when we got to play in the splash area and the Dolphin show. Will liked getting smashed by someone not watching where they were going...oh wait. He did NOT like that. But he loved the area where sharks and Manta Rays swam over our heads and he could have just sat and stared at them all day. Sea World is such a blast, we need to get down there more! Oh, and how random are the Sesame Street characters? But the kids still wanted pictures with them. We didn't want to wait in the "line" for Cookie Monster...it was over 4 people long. But 2 out of 3 is pretty good:)

Getting a facial
Will was more interested in giving himself an oatmeal scrub than actually eating but, I think SOME got in his mouth:)

Last day of school
I am a little late in posting this, but Max had a great year and we sure loved his entire class and we couldn't have been luckier than having Mrs. Anderson. Way to go, Max! Now onto 1st grade!!
4th of July
Our 4th of July was filled with fun activities and fireworks! The kids loved running around at our Ward breakfast with their friends and then again at the Simmons for some firework fun. By the way, fireworks in Gainesville are rockin'! Everyone does the huge ones and they light up the sky all night. Will loved his first 4th of July and he would just lay his head back on me and stare up at all the lights. He was a little shell shocked when he heard his first boom but got used to it pretty quickly. We're getting better at getting out and are hoping by next year we'll even make it up to the fireworks UF puts on!! We sure had a great time and are so lucky to live in such a great country! We love you, America!!
