Thank you, mom, for coming out to help me and William. Thank you for sleeping at the hospital with me when I know how hard it must have been on you. Thank you for understanding me when I was too emotional to even understand myself. Thank you for your insight, your thoughts, and your comfort whenever I needed it. Thank you for the laundry, the shopping, the dishes, the entertaining of my kids (and anyone who knows my kids know how hard that can be!!), and for watching the late night Caucus debates with me. Thank you for not making me do a quilt for the baby. Thank you for turning your phone off and putting your life on hold for us. Thank you for making me feel like I actually am a good mom to my kids. Thank you most for marrying a man that I am honored to name my son after.
