Girls Trip...sort of...

We just got back from, you guessed it..DISNEYLAND! Siri and her kids let us tag along with them on a mini break to the big D-LAND. We had such a blast and hope they had as much fun as we did! I know they had to lower their standards a teensy bit and do it "Mathie style" i.e. bring own lunches, stay at bug-infested hotels, etc, but we are so glad they did!!
Max and Addie are going to have a rude awakening tomorrow when they can't just walk over to Disneyland bright and early. I guess we could always take another trip next weekend. . .

Worse than the blob. It gets EVERYWHERE! I have to practically hose them down before they can come back in but I'm never quick enough and London gets her mitts all over me. So we ALL have to go through a change of clothes after The Chalk.

Are Aunt Lindsey and Grammie coming today? But not Papa Mark...

FINALLY, after weeks of Max asking the daily question, "Are Grammie and Aunt Lindsey coming today?" they finally got here! We had a blast shopping, sword fighting, learning new dance moves, playing Dr. Mario, swimming, and of course, Oregano's and gellato's. We were exhausted by the end of the visit, but so sad to see them go. Thanks for coming! It must have been hard leaving little Jonas to come down for a few days, but we were so grateful to get to spend some time with our groovy Aunt Lindsey. And of course, Grammie! Thanks for the encouragement and support (and GREAT new costumes!) We love you guys and hope to see you again soon!
