Easter Weekend

We got a visit from Grammie and Papa Mathie (and Uncle Wodan) this Easter weekend and Max had a ball!! He loved following his Uncle around and getting presents from Grammie and Papa! They got him a new swimming pool and I couldn't get him out of it today! I wish they could have stayed long enough to see him enjoy it, but they had to head back to Utah. Max was so sad when they left and cried to go with them. If Morgan hadn't been there, he might be driving to Utah right now....ahhh...just kidding! But we had a great time, Easter dinner was fabulous, it's nice to have Grammie around to make all those yummy dishes! Thanks for everything guys, we hope you had as much fun as we did!! See you in Disneyland!:)

Max's favorite spot

Max loves eating out at his new picnic table! Last night I let him eat dinner out there and he got all of his "buddies" and they ate dinner together. And yea, he really loves his ketchup! I finally had to take it away because he kept "dipping" his toys in it and saying "uh oh" and making me wash them off. I guess that's better than him licking it off, huh? It's important to be grateful for the little things I guess:)

This weekend we had some fun visitors, Gramma and Papa! Although the circumstances weren't the best for their visit, we sure had a good time. We celebrated Max's birthday and he got some new Buzz and Woody toys (of course) and a GREAT new picnic table! We went down to the Arizona Mills and had lunch at the Rainforest Cafe and that was really fun. Max was very nervous about the Gorilla's, but loved watching the fish. The next day we drove over to Palm Springs for my Aunt Pam's funeral. It was a hard trip but I'm glad Max and I got to go with my parents. There was one funny thing that happened, though. We shared a room in Palm Springs and while we were all asleep, Max started shouting "Papa" in his sleep. It was so funny and sweet because he just adored my dad the whole trip. Thanks, Bill, for all the playtime you had with Max. He was really sad this morning to see your bed was empty.
Thanks again for the great visit, mom and dad! We sure miss you already and can't wait to see you in Newport! Thanks for all the groceries and shopping! And good luck with Ole and Ida!
